Around 9pm in a light drizzle Vuelta du Ter graced our yard - Wild Forest Ranch - with her 5th foal Emerald du Ter or Emerald de la Mer. Hugh Pat Ward, his grandson Dylan Ward at his side, and the rest of the Ward clan eagerly watched Emerald make his way to his hooves around 9:35pm. Vuelta shows her most valuable traits as she nurtures and cleans him up and gently nudges Emerald with support. We love/live
